I need to get a printer. This is a Canon Pixma TS3722 wireless printer. Also will scan & copy. In stock at my local Walmart for $49. Canon is a well known brand & wanted any feedback from the forum. Need to print from my laptop & I read there is a mobile app too, print from phone.

The wireless feature is very convenient. The printer can be installed anywhere. Doesn't need to be by the PC. We print direct from our phone too. Ours is an Epson though. As you said, Canon is a well known and used brand. Pretty sure all the big printers at my work are Canon.

Sweet! Can't beat the price. And the ink cartridges are carried at same Walmart.

I forgot what brand but one brand made it only the ink cartridges they have work on their printer.
I think thats all of the printer brands. Not many are interchangeable.

The ink cartidges for it are pricey. If it were me, I would be looking at this one.

Ink tank printers are the way to go now. No more proprietary cartridges.

That's way too expensive for a printer. Amazon is mostly scams these days. I can walk in my Walmart & get the cartridges. If the printer gives problems, walk in Walmart where I purchased, they take/exchange anything.

The ink will make up for the difference in price eventually 😉

I just need basic functionality for printing shipping labels on plain 8-1/2×11 & printing 1:1 DXFs for templates of my designs. The Canon Pixma will suffice. One cartridge will last a year.

Was reading reviews on it. Hopefully you don't get empty carts like some have. My mom bought a $49 Canon from walmart a couple years ago and it lasted almost week before it was empty. It was $50 to buy replacement carts 😉

Hate to hear that. Seems some folks despise Walmart. I despise Amazon.
The replacement cartridges are $21 at Walmart. Just shake em- they last longer. She must have bought the wrong cartridge at 50 bucks!

It was a different printer. Much bigger than the one you're looking at.

Walmart, Amazon, they're all evil.

Our wireless Epson printer/scanner has been faultless. Had it for years.
Have had one in the past, as well as two Canon's is why I originally suggested the Epson. Canon makes great cameras. But I have never had good luck with their printers. The best printers I have had have been Epson and an old Dell 820C bohemoth laser printer.

We are on our second Cannon printer, TR4720, had the first one for 7 years, replaced it with an HP Envy, which we fought with for two years, then went back to Cannon.

HP would lose its setup if you looked at it wrong. Got really tired of having to go thru the automated Setup to get it back on our network.

I have been boycotting HP products since the 90's 😉
