i personally dont have that R/C, but i dont see anything bad, or heard anything bad about it. i think there is someone in this forum that has 2 and posted about them recently. not sure who or where on the forum though.

I searched the forums and didn't come up with it, so I am a novice with nitro powered vehicles.
What other stuff would u recommend that i need for this.

Kyosho's a very reputable brand. I think itd be a good car. Other ones ya might want to check out would be the NTC3 or the Rs4 Evo's. There also very nice rides and have tons of aftermarkets available for them.

i havent heard nothing bad about it .i think RallyeXpress has 2 of them. ask him next time hes on.

Well to get a first look at myself, it looks like it was based of the regular 1/8 scale inferno MP 75. You can't go wrong with that foundation.

Like it was stated earlier in this thread, look into the TC3 just for part support.
Almost everything I own is Kyosho, but I have local hobby shop support and can get all the parts I need.
Take that advice or you might be sorry later on.

This is great advise! I had and loved a couple of Kyosho's but when tower stop carrying there parts it was a pain in the butt trying to get parts for them.

Like Ratzo mentions, look into what parts your LHS stocks primarily. I have an older Kyosho USA-1 Nitro and I absolutely love this truck. Problem is, Kyosho and Great Planes had a falling out, so none of the local shops around here stock Kyosho parts and neither does Tower Hobbies. Kyosho, overall, is a terrific manufacturer, so if you have good local parts support, absolutely worth considering.

Actually 4u2nv mentioned it.
I just sent it home.
I can't take the credit.

YES I CAN!

well guys, hear this little joke. Guyana doesn't have a hobby shop (anymore) sight*
My sister is located in NY, I am sure she's willing to help locate some stuff.

Since I am a beginner at this, what would be the required tools to get when purchasing ?

Some cars come with things that you can use, but for starters you will need a glow plug wrench and ignitor, wheel wrench (should come with car), fail safe, a good hex wrech set for repairs, nut drivers for repairs.
The list goes on, but that should get you started.

hmm, what's the life span on an engine ?
sorry about all the questions I'm asking. I must be annoying now

as in average use, or manufacture specs. Like how many hours before replacing.
Or it doesn't work like htat?

Life span usually goes by gallons.
I would say you should get 4 gallons at least out of an engine.
Thats a lot considering the size of a touring car fuel tank.

I've gotten 7 gallons out of some engines, and I run hard, but I know how to tune the engine also.

PS. you have mail

have you looked into the traxxas nitro 4-tec it looks pretty nice for the price and the guy at my lhs didnt have anything bad to say about it 60+mph outta the box with a reliable car helpline and traxxas that will help with any problems 300 isnt to bad

From my experience, the TC3 is a more durable car than the 4 tech.
The TC3 is one of the better cars for bashing, and an entry level racer and is tough.
Trust me on this one.
As for online support, thats what RCNT is all about.
Come here and ask away.
Welcome to the site Campolo.

4.6cc is a .28
3.5cc is a .21

.12-.18 are small blocks, .21-.32 are big blocks.

The car you are looking at has a .28 and because of that will be very fast. The problem with Kyosho lately is parts. If you have a good source of Kyosho parts than go for it. If not I would look into the HPI RS4 3 Evo, or a AE NTC3+ RTR.
