Can I use this high speed fan with a normal 2s lipo?

Got this protek high speed and high voltage fan for the B74. It says it is it can do 2s LiHV but can it work on normal 7.4 lipo? I will be using my radio link rx/tx too. Here is the fan: https://www.amainhobbies.com/protek...ed-hv-cooling-fan-blue-black-ptk-2112/p996578
Operation voltage is 5v to 8.7 so I should be able to use it.

I have this fan and it died after 2 race days. Technically still works, barely, it seems that bearings are shot, propeller has a lot of play makes terrible sound and spins 20 times slower.

It seems that all metal casings fans are not any better than plastic fans. They are using metal casing but it's not that casings gets broken, it's the actual motor and a fan.

I have used couple different fans, 2 metal and two plastic, and right now the only one still working is power hobby plastic 40mm. I will get 3 more and test them how long they last

It's got a wide input voltage range and should be fine, but might have a touch less air flow with less volts.
