Looking at some pictures it seems like they use a lot of the same parts. Could I swap over the suspension from a MT2 to make my RS4 3 ss into a MT2?

Anyone know what parts are needed to do this?

Thanks,
MIke

they use the same radio box but is it the same chassis? you would need to do full conversions on the front and back ends.

I printed out the exploded parts view from hpi's web site and the cross referenced it with the RS4 3 manual. I made a list of parts and priced them out at Around $200 to do the conversion from tower. That didn't include a body though. It's not really worth it to me since the RTR MT2 is about $300. I think I'll just save up and get one down the road. I'm getting a Savage 25 for Christmas but I think I'd still like to have a MT2 to run with (actually in front of ;) ) My budies with their rustlers. I have a Savage .21 motor that I don't have a home for so I will probably need to get that MT2 for it :) .

What is an rs4 3? I have a HPI rs4 Nitro MT and it's real close to a MT 2. I'd like the front bumper system and the slipper, but other than that, it's pretty close to the same already. I think the MT 2's chassis is a little thicker though.

The RS4 3 Is a touring car that shares a lot of the same parts with the RS4 MT2.
The biggest differences are the suspension and chassis.

Oh... thanks.

I get confused with mine... it has like 3 names. HPI RS4 MT, I bought it thinking it was an MT2, but now I know it is not a MT2... Then I was trying to figure out what it really was. The manual says Nitro MT and hpi's website says its HPI RS4 MT.

God forbid I try a search on parts for it at Tower... I get all HPI's parts for anything with the word RS4 in it, which appears to be about every other truck/car they made.
