I've been casually driving at my local track, Tacoma RC Raceway with a Tekno SCT410.3 and ET410.2. I decided to try my hand at building and driving a 2wd buggy. So here it goes!
I have much to learn. I have most of the chassis built. This was my first time building a ball diff. My LHS recommended some upgrades, so I picked those up as well. I have a MKS low profile servo and a Hobbywing XR10 stock speck/21.5t motor combo on their way. Any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated! I will be running on indoor clay track in the picture!

i love the way a new AE kit goes together ...... Everything tight and snug like it should be .... I've heard good things about the b7 ....for off-road ... it has mixed reviews for the oval world ..... but we will see what happens with it in the future

Wow, those rod ends took a lot of pressure to push onto the ball studs. I ended up using some slip joint pliers.

Lookin' good! I'm jealous of them turnbuckles and rod ends. Makes me want to do some upgrading to some of my rides. Those new rod ends for the 3.5 mm threads look like the older "5 series" type that were so, so good and sought after.

that works ... lmao .... but this also another reason I have a 3d printer lol .... I just 3d print me a shock station for doing work like this
3d printers are so cool.

Looks better with some stickers on it. Now I just have to finish the electronics setup. I picked up some sauce fornthe tires and had to change out the carbon fiber battery holddowns (mine came with only one regular and had 3 offset legs)

Beautiful buggy man!
It will be until i take it to the track for the first time. I'm going to crash... alot🤣. I'm so used to letting my Tekno SCT410.3 rip, and I knownthe 2wd buggy will be a whole new learning curve. It's gonna be a great time!

The AE turnbuckles have me rethinking the ones in my Optimas! Solid and strong but move like glass!
I am honestly impressed! 🥰😍🤩

Lol! You and me both! I hope we get to see vids! From beginner to expert, driving vids are ALWAYS fun!
I just got a B6.3 to get to the track with too! Still a ways off from the track but I'm getting closer! 👍
Plans to crash often and well! 😎🤡
(I need to buy cam gear etc too!)
The guy I bought this from was also runing a 21.5 and he loved it!
I have a 21 and a 17 to try also.
I figure slow crashes are better... right? 🤣
