Took it to the track for the first run today. I absolutely love it! Its going to take some getting used to and some learning, but it put a huge smile on my face! The track was pretty slick, but saucing the tires helped. I crashed alot and the B7 seems pretty durable so far.

Modern cars can take a lot of abuse. The biggest downside of crashing a lot is something very difficult to notice: it slows down the development of your skills.

Turning down the throttle EPA helps for sure, but can be boring. Try to balance having fun and driving clean – you’ll be able to handle a full-powered car a lot sooner this way, and the constant crashes will be gone.

You have the ellipse tires on there right? Yea the bar tires on a dirt track like that so like to slide around. Like you said tire sauce did help but you probably noticed it was still a bit slick? Once you get some heat in them tires, run them more with more sauce and after a few hardcore race days they will soften up and wore down to slicks and you'll notice an improvement in traction. Or what you can do is shave them down to slicks with a drill too. But most companies since hard packed slick dirt is super common these days, Jconcepts have the smoothie 2s which are a good slick. Same thing as the ellipse once it's worn down but smoothies are a slick from the factory.

I have positrons on the rear and electrons on the front. I went there right when they opened in the morning and the reack is usually wet. It gets way better after a bit of other people running on it. Usually it's dry by race time, but that's usually when I leave. I just like to piddle around and put a couple packs through and then head home.

Looks like an awesome track! I've only run indoor carpet around here. Would love to give dirt/clay a shot.
