Actually, a rookie painting mistake, I used the wrong paint but I like the look and I am going to rust her up. This is the wife's rig.

You can get paint to peel intentionally by brushing on a thin layer of Vaseline where you want it to peel before painting. Let it dry and then you can flake off the paint. Only works with spray paint.
 
Not too much of a beater. I found sharp objects to remove paint then silver looks like a work truck.

In the past I used copper and brown to do a windshield and mud splashes. I dont think I have pics of that one.

Using a non-polycarbonate paint peels on it's own. Rookie mistake for sure but again, I like it.
