only regret is the weak traxxas 8-hour charger. Feels like I fell for a trick.

Looks cool and not a bad price for a Slash with a battery and charger, I would definitely upgrade to a peak detection fast charger of some sort though, what kind of battery did you get with it?

just to let you know if you get a charger like i did, you can charge the batt in about 1.5-2 hrs

Switch to the right brushless and lipo setup and that thing will be crazy fast, wont be able to keep the front end on the ground! Congrats on the early Christmas present!

lol, why do you have an Associated sticker on it?

thanks guys!!

DAMMN its dirt slow with the 12T motor and 3000 mah battery.

I'm not happy with it, too slow for my taste, do you guys think a bigger battery will make it go faster?

or am i screwed with the brushed motor?

Ya dude, go brushless if you can and you will poop your pants when you see how bad ass it is. lol

for some reason it feels slightly faster the second battery charge. Maybe th motor/battery had to break in.

At least its not dirt slow like I first thought. Can actually have some fun with this thing.

I second that and buy another 7cell when you get a chance and the fun won't stop until you do. Get a 46mah battery. Even with a brushed motor you will be impressed.

tell me dude, if in about a week or so, if your motor fries up on you? because i had mine for about a week and a half and the motor was shot!!!! this happened like 3 weeks, still didn't fix it... because i hope to find something under the christmas tree, cough cough VELINEON 3S cough cough, hint hint

A bigger battery will make a helluva difference. The xl5/12t titian can handle 8 cells. Drop a tooth on the pinion to make the motor last a bit longer. Blast the motor out every 3rd run and lube the bushings with a drop of 3in1 oil.
