I'm glad you asked. Here's the scoop

The two outdrives that need 8mm shaft openings will be the input drives to the front and rear diffs. The diameter that you are speaking of is ~ 9.5mm but there really is no reason it cannot be widened. It could go all the way to 13mm. I would like the extension on these so that the outdrive can be mounted all the way up to the bearing and the grub screw will align perfectly with the flat of the pinion shaft. Just so you know where I'm getting my numbers... 13mm would ensure that the outdrive does not make contact with the outer bearing ring. make sense?

Now, since you got me looking. The one outdrive with the 5mm shaft opening w/o the hex.. we need to get rid of that extension. So pretty much like the RCA outdrive except with a 5mm opening. That extension will not allow me to get the outdrive on the tranny output shaft as far as it should (the hole in the outdrive shaft will not align with the grub screw hole in the outdrive because the extension on the outdrive makes contact with the tranny case).

I'm gonna get all that stuff in the mail tomorrow. Expect the clutch nut, 1 outdrive by itself and 1 outdrive with the hex installed.

Dude i have got the exact same chaise only its in sliver i must say the black looks much better. the good thing about the sliver is you dont notice the stone chips or scrapes as much. btw your truck is one of the nicest I've seen

looks identical 2 mine when it was new lol accept for the transmission. i still have the original 2.5r one in it but i have the picco 26 maxx engine in it. I'm in the process of blingin my truck out but being short on cash and still being in school doesn't help much.
how much did the chaise and the bulk heads cost you ?

Sweet ride there Lessen!
Are you going to make the plunge into the suspension or are you going to send the kids to collage?

The Chassis set was $135 I think, but that was in black. If you get it silver to begin with it's $120. The bulkheads are $140 for the set. The diffs are like $120. Aluminum tranny case can be had for $80. RRP top shaft and FOC is about $70. RCS spur is about $25. RCA front driveshaft is $20. Oh, I forgot about 8mm bore outdrives for the diffs... $16. Although, I'm having them made custom for me cuz I didn't see them listed on the site I bought the diffs from. So if you're following the build, the cost of the pic above is $590 + some stock tranny guts, and there's nearly nothing there. LOL!

You know, I've read absolutely nothing but praise about it. I think if I had that suspension setup I wouldn't have toasted a set of arms, a shock shaft and hinge pins the last time I was out with it. They really sound like the answer. Expensive yes, $260. I'll have to save up and sell a couple things but I'm gonna do it for sure. I might as well, everything else on this thing is high end. I really think I'll have the ultimate Bling Basher by the time it's all done. It'll look great and take just about anything I could dish to it.

and to anybody that feels the need to tell me to just buy a Savage.. kiss my ass. Rolex has a Savage and we all know how much of a beating that thing can take. pfft. :D

After working with the Baja, thats a drop in the bucket. One funny noise will cost that and more. Just ask RobMob :D

i say go for it!

It's indestructible. I've had it almost a year, and I haven't broken a thing. Lots of alloy parts, so it should be strong. :p:

The T maxx is looking really nice and at least you are not affraid of getting it a little dusty, Those Flex Tech arms are sick I only wish I could afford some for my E Maxx,

very nice truck-sweet chassis-now I'm jealous-i would love to ditch the factory blue chassis for something in green-but green maxx stuff is hard to find-i know rc raven has the green skids. was scoping out a like dark gun metal type chassis on ebay. but i dont really need it so if my truck breaks its chassis then ill upgrade.

OH baby! I'm excited now. Just ordered a bunch of stuff. Flextek arms, FLM skids, RD Logic boxes. Another week and she'll be standing again. Woot woot!

WooHOO! The mail lady was good to me today! Suspension arms and skids just arrived as well as a couple other misc goodies I ordered.

Pics up later...

Here it is as of now. I got some more aluminum stuff on the way. That would be RD Logic Rx box, battery box and fuel tank.
