We T-Maxx boys can't let those Savages get all the attention. I needed a new Chassis for my Maxx so I decided to got with Fastlane Machine as I have been very happy with their products. When I saw that Addicted2RC.com had black anno versions of FLM stuff I HAD to have it. This is gonna go great with all of my black RPM stuff. I may have to upgrade to black bulkless bulkheads just to keep the theme going... Hmm... tranny case too....

Here's the bottom of my Truck as it sits now.

Here's the SWEETEST CHASSIS SET AVAILABLE...

Hey that looks real nice....I like it. Still not a Savage though.....lol....sorry man I had to say it.....but you gave me the idea. BTW, good lord those are some huge center drive shafts...who makes them?

Very nice looking!
Definitely one of the nicest chassis and T maxxes I've ever seen!

And I'm sure this wonderful looking truck actually gets used unlike some people we know..

RC Alloys

The FLM kit came with an extended shaft but I'm gonna stick with my ultra beefy RCA's. Aside from being unbreakable, they just look badass. They need to be black too though :) Oh my... I got the 'stealth bug'. It's all FastEddy's fault. hehe

Wow, some beautiful stuff. It would sure look good on my Savage.

Yeah, I agree. Lessen won't ever run that NASCAR lid.

By the way Mr. Rolex have you deflowered your bling machine in any type of natural turf to this date since she is "done" now? Lets see the vid of the sweet machine sparkling in the sun ripping up some terrain draining both tanks of fuel :arrr:

Nope, body will never see dirt. Actually, that car probably won't see dirt for a long time either, sad really. Someday in the near future we'll move and I'll get the amount of land that I want... :)

All seriousness aside, that's a major drive train. I'll be checking out RC Alloys shortly.

(I'm getting closer and closer to running the Savvy. Just ran into a guy I used to run with on another track that's now closed, and a member here lives nearby and is also a videographer, so you might actually have proof.)

Oh crap... Chassis isn't compatible with HCR tranny case. Time to return to stock... too bad I just sold it to fund the chassis, LMAO!

*edit*

Aha! I love this hobby. There are very few things that a Dremel with a sanding drum cannot fix :D

ooooh... This chassis is even longer than my previous extended chassis. I'm not gonna be able to use my rear RCA dogbone. The FLM Kit came with one though and I believe it's just as strong. The RCA is 2mm thicker in the middle but the FLM is thicker at their respective narrowest section. Plus, it's black which is cool.

Nice Chassis, I especially like the option of moving the T/B servo to the side and also that there are tapped holes for the steering servo. No need for the mounts anymore. I need to re-ream my rear body post holes on my body though.

I see SOMEONE....ahem...doggiedooU2...edited his thread to point a more accurate finger.

That's really a good looking set up. Unfortunately, all they had for the Savage were the center shafts for $40, but at least they were shiny and silver stainless steel, not that black crap.

It's definitely a first rate set up. I just can't let it go without busting his chops. My job is to annoy.

Understood. :) I like it a lot. I had to dremel the tranny case a bit but I shoe-horned it in there. Just had to round off a few corners and trim away some width. No big deal. I'm thinking about sending out the tranny case and bulkheads for black anno.

Oh, man, what a difference in tastes. Looking at that setup makes me want to go search for a polished aluminum trans case for mine.

This truck is gettin torn down for some serious upgrades. I'm planning on picking up FLM hybrid bulks for 1/8 diffs so obviously I'll have to pick up some 1/8 diffs as well. I was thinking of ditching the 3.3 setup for a big block .28 or .30 but then I got the idea of putting the .50 from the MGT 8.0 in it. Hehehe... Hey, I got the space.. might as well use it right?

The Fast Lane Machine parts are absolutely first rate! I guess you saw what I just finished adding to the Savage...

FLM's parts are available on MANY sites, but PLEASE, PLEASE do not get anything from Addicted2RC. If you have a problem, like I did, he's the absolute worst there is. Might even be worse than Integy. I went directly to Fast Lane Machine and they were absolutely golden when it came to making it up to me.

Is there anywhere else that does the anno work? I want to get them in black of course. If not it's cool. Imbroken PM'd me a while back to let me know he had the hookup for anno work. If I need the bulks done I might as well send a few other things as well.
