I just finished paint. Here's a couple close-ups of the details. Still needs decals. Looks kinda naked without them. Plus the cape of course, that will make this body what it is.

The cape is in the works. The cape itself is cut out. I'm currently working on the?Superman logo that goes on it

I didn't really have chance to do much with it today except cut out the yellow S just a couple minutes ago. There you guys can see the red fabric for the cape.

I like how you have the numbers with the ghost effect.

It's actually not an "effect" as "effects" go. Nothing fancy there at all Randy, just dark grey on black. It doesn't look quite as "ghost" in the sun though. It's amazing the difference artificial light does compared to natural sunlight.

Just threw on the decals. Here's a quick shot with my phone. All it needs is the cape.

...and the cape as it sits. I want to do black stitching to trim the logo and then the entire cape needs to be put together (there is another piece of red fabric that needs to be sewn to the back of this one).

the outlining is all cut in mask with an xacto. That's all about knife control rather than airbrush control. The whole body is all "spray to cover" with exception of the highlighting. That DOES require a certain degree of precision.

its all coming together and looking really good. that is one sweet sled... NICE:South_Carolina:

Now thats knife control! I can feel my hand cramping now! I can't wait to see it with the cape.

yeah, me too Randy. This sewing thing is gonna take some considerable practice time though. I'd hate to blow thing whole thing on a crappy looking satin stitch. I'm pretty good in a straight line and gentle curves but the tight stuff on the S logo is super tricky.

WTH!? Lessen has a bling truck too?

How did I miss this 15 pg thread lol. Looks great Lessen! Can't wait to see the finish of the Superman lid.

Yes, yes. I'm attempting some minor bling.

I havn't got around to finishing up the cape yet. Been busy the last few days.
