10,000 lb car lift going in!!! This has been a long time coming. Haven’t had one since I sold my shop in 2011. Might soon be time to put an LS in my XJ! 🤣

Could do a diesel conversion also. I see diesel jugs. Quite a few Cummins jeep prowling around. Congrats. I would love one but I need to build a shop first.

I understand the benefits of a diesel but I absolutely loath working on them and all the smells and sounds. They’re just so filthy dirty. If you spill a little fuel that stain is there FOREVER haha. They all sound like they have a rod knock too 🤣 Don’t get me wrong though, I’ve pulled large trailers cross country many times with a 24v Cummins Dodge and to be able to pull Loveland pass eastbound in overdrive without breaking a sweat is pretty fantastic. But it’s someone else’s truck. I don’t have to maintain it.

Other possible engine swaps I’d be into is a 2JZ or maybe one of the coyote motors from ford. I think the LS will be the most budget friendly way to go with the most aftermarket support.

Shop looks GREAT!!! LOVE the lift!!! Congrats! Job well done!!!
It’s so tossed right now 😆. Gonna take half the weekend to get everything sorted back out. Also need to fabricate some sort of attachment that will allow it to pick up a boat (Landlord is a boat guy 🙄 and his boat has a leak in the keel)

Sounds like maybe straps around and under. Don't forget to pin and lock EVERYTHING, cross the straps too!
Fail Army has taught me much young Skywalker. LOL!!!
Maybe its too much boat for straps and the Fail Army is emminent at that point?!
Do be careful though! Boats DO NOT BOUNCE!!!
