It’s been a while fellas. Life has a way of doing that. But, I’ve finally got around to getting my RC’s up and running. Maintinence. Etc….

I put the Traxxas 600 series servo on my Xmaxx this morning then ran a charge through it. Here’s my thoughts.

First, the install. Easy peasy. It drops right in. I did install a cheapo aluminum servo arm as well.

Second is performance. It’s a dynamite setup. Extremely fast and strong. If the front tires are on the ground it’ll turn the truck immediately. On any surface. Just a great piece of gear.

I can’t attest to the longevity. Only Time will tell on durability.
You talking about this one?

So you opted to pay the same money for a Traxxas servo that you could pay for some of the best servos out there? 🤔

You can buy a Tekin, a NitroPro, an NSDRC, a Reefs, etc, etc, etc, for what that servo cost. And any one of those would be far superior to any Traxxas servo.

Even a nice name brand standard servo with the Traxxas adapter would be a beast in that truck.
Yes. That’s what I did.

I started this thread asking questions. And, I truly appreciate all the help you guys have given me. You included.

I received a lot of suggestions. I also outlined my priorities in how I would decide which one to buy. One of those priorities was a direct drop in servo.
