What would you guys recommend as some of the best chargers?

I'm looking for a charger that will charge:

1) my stick batteries (Traxxas EZ-Start Battery)
2) 6v Receiver Hump Battery
3) Airtronics M8 Transmitter Battery
4) Ni-Cad Glow Igniter
5) Starter Box Battery

with discharge function and if it woulc charge more than 1 item at once, that would be nice too. digital is nice, but not a must.

This will take care of most your needs.
If you use the search function, you will find a lot of info on chargers.

If your starter box uses a 12 V. gel cell, use a car bat. charger. For stick batteries (EZ Start / Starter Box) get any inexpensive 7.2 V charger.

What part of ca. are you in? We are having our West Coast Bash on the first weekend of October and would love to have you come.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Where's the west coast bash going to be held at? I'm in San Francisco.

Yeah that SuperBrain will do NiCd, Nimh, Lead Acid AND Lithiums! I was just checking it out in the mag yesterday.

I run the Reedy Quasar Pro, and while its a GREAT charger, its a bit overpriced and wont do LeadAcid or single cells. But for my hump packs and TX's is AWESOME! Plus my flight packs.

Integy also has a nice charger out for the NiCd and Nimh's only. AC/DC, 1-15 etc.....

We are looking for the exact spot and ore open for suggestions.
We would like to stay in the North Bay if possible. We have a few places in mind around Petaluma / Napa and Sacramento. We would love to have you come.

Are there any downsides to the Superbrain charger?

Also, do you guys know if you can charge a glow plug igniter and flight packs with the Superbrain 969?

This one I had in my hands, test ran, loved it, but still did not buy it because I already have a great charger. However, when I can afford the extra charger, or possible replacement for my Reedy Pro, this will more than likely be the one.

A couple guys up at the LHS have them and have had no complaints. The Brain Pro looks sweet too!

I'm just happy they keep coming down in price!

If you guys are going to have a West Coast Bash this year I would like to be included and I will pretty much drive anywhere within CA to attend. Just let me know the time and the place if you are going to do it this year (2004)

Don't take this wrong there dude, but this thread was about a charger. Low and behold 6 months later you raise the dead and ask about a bash session???

Not taking anything the wrong way dude, I came across this thread using the search function for charging gell cells. I then noticed that someone was planning a bash session. Yes, the thread is old, I know that but I was displaying interest in a possible future bash session and unless I show interest the above people have no way of knowing who might be interested. Sorry if you do not like dead threads coming back to life....
