Anyone who has put together 1/24 scale beadlock rim's knows they can be a little fiddly sometimes. Some sets line right up and some sets will test your vocabulary. Today I had a set of the latter variety so I decided to make a jig to keep them lined up wile putting the screws in.

I started with a small block of wood, marked the screw holes on the wood, cut some paper clips down to short lengths, drilled appropriate sized holes and glued the paperclips in place. Took a bit to figure out. I made the mistake of putting a paperclip pin in each screw hole when I realized I still need to put screws in there! pulled two of the pins back out at opposite ends and it works like a charm.

This would be hard to 3d print. If I was still machining, I would have already whipped out a few out of 7075 aluminum and distributed them 🤪

I don't have too much trouble with the RC4WD 1.0 beadlocks. But the .7's were like assembling a watch.
