Just charged all batteries, just want to know if these voltages are enough. suppose to get in the 40s Monday so I can go out and play not like teens and 20s its been for about a month.

10.6v - T/X
8-2000mAh Energizer rechargeables

5.4v - R/X
1- 1200mah HPI 5 battery hump pack

Seems low or like you false peaked. You should see just over 11.0V on the TX pack and a fully charged rx pack should be just over 6V.

Thanks Jet. I was only using wall charger. I dont have the right ends for my other charger yet. Output is only 9.6 TX and 4.6 RX @ 50mA

50ma isn't much... I could have swore all my chargers put out much higher voltage than the pack I was charging. My old wall charger for my transmitter (designed for NiCAD) puts out 17-18V at 100ma.

You should be able to safely charge your transmitter to 11-11.2'ish and your receiver to 6.1-6.5. That's typically where mine read with a voltmeter when the batteries feel warm to the touch.

I've been using a "real" charger for the past few months though. It makes life a lot easier. I had been using an old 800Ma 9-18V adjustable transformer for a few years... I know, completely hack, but it seemed to work fine for a long time. Until I tried charging my transmitter with it. Then something happened to the transformer. It still works, just not as well. It takes a lot longer than it used to.

Anyway... the charger I do have now is a MRC 959. It will charge pretty much anything but lipo from 1 cell-12 cells. The only thing I don't like about it is that it defaults to 3A charge current. 2/3A cells don't like that much nor do AA's. So I always have to make sure to drop it to 1A-1.5A manually.

What is a good all around charger that will do RX, TX, AA, stick, etc. If they make such an animal

Is there a way to get my prophet peak charger to charge my Energizer AA's? The old Rayovac charger just won't cut it since it doesn't peak, it just keeps going.

Just use a 4 pack or 8 pack battery tray. If you don't have one from an old kit or radio, head to Radio Shack and buy one and just put the connector on you need to work with your charger. The MAH should be on the battery.

As far as chargers, I like the Triton or Triton Jr. The triton will do everything, including PB's (gell cell starter box battery). The ICE isn't bad either, but it's only issue with me is not being able to do lead's.
