Hi folks, I have A Savage X Nitro. I am looking for a charger that stops charging when the battery is full as I tend to forget about them and end up overcharging. I dont like the way they all have to be charged from seperate chargers and settings. I have a glow plug, a rota start and 2 x humpback battery packs. Any advise would be greatly apreciated. Thank you :)

Any of the current generation of peak chargers would be fine for your listed usage. These are designed to charge at a high current rate until the "peak" voltage is detected by the charger. The charge is then dropped to a trickle rate. Adapters are available for all of the packs (including the glow igniter). Most of the chargers sold are going to need an external power supply to operate.

One of the best NiMH/NiCD chargers that I have used is the Dynamite Prophet charger.

You can find AC/DC chargers so you don't need the external power supply. The Prophet isn't a bad unit, but you can find some other brands/models that have built in battery memory. Meaning you can program battery selection "one" for the hump packs, selection "two" for the stick pack for the roto start, etc. This way if you have different mha batteries, or even battery types you only have to set each model battery memory up once. Then just select the model number for the battery the next time you want to peak charge the battery...

HTH...
