So I'm converting my Traxxas Bantit to a Rustler. So I ordered some RPM A-arms and hubs and MIP axles. I wanted steel axles because I was seeing wear on the stock axles and I didn't think the will hold out when I put larger tires on. My problem is that my MIP axles I order are are for a nitro Rustler and they are too shot for my A-arms. Do the nitro Rustler and electic Rustler have differnt length A-arms?

No they are the same length arms but the tranny is different. I use the heavy duty axles from the Slash 4x4. They hold up much better than the stock ones and they wont strip your diff out like the steel ones have been known to do on Rustys with a ton of torque.

How hard is this to do? What is your cost in parts to convert?

It is really easy. Just need to change A arms assembly, drive shafts, wheels, and shock towers. Both are built on the same chasis. With stock parts it most likely be about $75. I upgraded to RPM everything, a new body, new shocks and looking for something to mount for a frount wing.

I will post some picture soon once I finnish.
