Yea its a creek behind the house. Almost Unstoppable i think. Going to try and haul some rock out of it. Hopefully that helps some.

Its getting there. Tracks are a ton of work. Gotta get a roller and drag built now that the tiller is working good.
Hope to have this oval done this weekend then ill start on the rest. Still undecided if i will build a big track at the other location. Not sure i can handle another full time job. Ill see how this little one goes and decide from there.

Coming along good
Found some sandy grey clay inbetween fishing. Going to build a couple jumps then tonight i might till up some more ground so i can remove these from the oval.
I think we will have a partial dirt partial Grey clay surface. Should make for decent racing and challenging for tire choice.

About half those rocks from your fishing site would have come home with me, some serious crawlin' material. :thumbs-up:
I was thinking the same thing 😉

Track is looking good.

Very cool @Fireball - It's exciting, huh? I built my track last summer. My plans def were tweaked as the project went on. Man, wish I had a tiller for my riding mower! Lol Would have made it so much easier! Lol I borrowed my neighbors 25cc little tiller. It was a pain but got the job done and got a great workout too!! Lol

The wifey gave me permission to extend it so that's this summers project! Getting a better tiller this time though! The piping works great. Super easy and just drill holes to put large metal spikes (with washers) in to hold them down. Also, watch for flooding.....I had to put drainage tubes in some spots. Good luck! Can't wait to see the final pics!

O...and feel free to get creative.....I had 2 front tires from an old riding mower that I used at 2 corners. The old tractor they came off of has been retired (I had painted it Redskins colors so I wasn't going to trash it!), so I removed the gas tank, mower deck, battery and whatever else I could strip off and sat it next to the track (you can see the hood in the pic). It makes a cool seat to use while racing. Also used a roll and fold mini scaffold as a drivers stand.

I also saw during my research that someone had filled in some unused areas with the indoor carpet "grass" to keep weeds/grass down and to look nice; so I did the same. However, I had to order more......ordered the exact same ones I ordered before, and it came in a different shade of green! :rolleyes:O well!

I also decorated the side of my shed facing the track with tin oil/gas, RC signs. I just got a Traxxas and Redcat banner to hang there also.

The possibilities are limitless!!! GO WILD! :p

Thanks! It's a blast! Especially playing freeze tag with the whole family and friends running rigs! With 7 or 8 of us out there sometimes it is hilarious!

I could amagine that’s fun but don’t host a public one then you’ll have that person and brakes others cars

Got my little tractor. No dam clue how to hook this tiller up lol. Its belt driven and i don't have a pully that i can find to hook it to. Might have to buy some kind of attachment. Soon as figure this out the track will be started.
I have an older JD with a tiller on it and it has a pulley belt drive system on the back PTO. But I seen you improvised, love it!!

Finally finished my track extensions. Still need to hang the solar flood lights and few other adjustments, but it's open for the season! 👍 🤙 🤪😄

@Fireball - how's your track coming along? Can't wait to see pics!
