.avi help

avi is a video file correct? I just got a lengthy video in .avi form and my computer will only play it in sound format. Any idea why I can't get any vid out of it? I would really appreciate the help!

You have the wrong codec. Are you using windows media player? If so, go to your options tab and see if the "download codecs automatically" is checked.

I've found that this program will play just about anything: VLC media player

Olds is correct about the codec.
I'm assuming that this is a video of you with some sheep that you want us to see.

Yea roxlex, something like that, but I've moved on from the sheep. I'm not saying what it is though.

I don't know if it's an improvement. Whatever it is, it looks like there were crawlie things on it, judging by the bug in your avatar.
