I was thinking of getting this engine and I was looking for a pipe for a .27 and am not seeing them I did however find this one for a .21 so my question is, do you think it will work for a .27 engine? I mean we are literally trying to fit a stock t-maxx exhaust on a .21 engine, figuratively.

It's a conspiracy... No one wants to answer me. Guess I'm not good enough... :depress: Wait, conspiracy has piracy in it, must be the reason...

Don't know for sure if upping the ci would change much for exhaust. But, you could probably run this combo. It's what came with my xtm 21 conv kit. Sounds good, has good low end on an OS 21 RG and it's a lot cheaper than the OS header/pipe combo.

It required the obligitory adapter for the OS engine since it doesn't seem to have the typical exhaust port thing... not sure what it's called. If it was a 1:1, I think it would be considered a manifold.

However, it did fit on my new engine just fine without an adapter which is this: http://horizon.hobbyshopnow.com/products/description.asp?prod=OMAP200

i think there should be a special pipe for the really big blocks....as there is a .06" increase from a .15 engine to a .21 engine..and look at how much bigger the pipes are forthe .21 compared to .15 pipes...and now there is a .06 difference from a .21 to a .27.....

Exactly my point. I have been looking online for a larger pipe and have not found one. while I don't like it I might possibly have to look for either a boat or and aviation (super loud, yuck) pipe.
