armma infraction- hobbywing max 6 ezrun 4985 how good is it?

So my friend has the max 6 combo 4985 motor and wants $150 for esc and motor. Has anyone had this sett up in there infraction and is it a good deal for $150. He only ran the car a few times before he sold it with out the esc and motor? Any input would be great. Thanks

The HW 4985 motor is a 1650kv motor, the stock motor is a 2050kv motor so it wont be quite as fast unless its possible to make up the kv difference with gearing. IDK because I dont own that kit yet...Its on my list though

As for whether the MAX6 combo is worth $150 well that depends. Its a $360 combo brand new so as long as its in good shape and is fully functional then it could be a great deal. If it looks beat all to hell, has rusty screws, or anything that would make it seem questionable then it probably is questionable.
