touche......... so now i gotta take all that off to get it back in haha oh how fun nitro is. Well its a learning process i guess half tempted to throw this thing on ebay haha naaa not after all this work i can't do that.

Hey schrode noticed it says ur active military. Do we have a vet one ? i just got out :P

Yea, send Woodie a PM and he'll hook you up.

That brake piston is what i was calling a thingy that applies the brakes. Lol i couldnt think of the name of it to save my life when i was typing before.

will do, its only 11:00 and I'm working on this thing trying to get the brake piston back in without taking the tranny out, this is making me want a beer lol

one way bearing is in the right way, the brake piston is in, checked the tank and carb with soapy water no bubbles so theres no leaks there, zip tied the exhaust down, rebuilt the carb checked replaced all o rings. installed new glow plug, put a metal o ring under the cooling head. charged up the wand battery set the carb to 4 turns out on the hsn and 2 turns on the lsn. oh and good compression on the engine. i still can't get this hoopty started lol any ideas gents?

I would blow the fker up! You have more patience than me at getting one of these running haha.

believe me I've been tempted just to take pics and put it on eb*y or just light the fuel that leaked all over it and watch it burn !

Lol try priming so fuel into the carb and turning it over. I had to do that to my RC10GT2 I had, but gave up after I ran a 1/4 tank haha.

i tried that so much i flooded the engine had to put the glow plug and dump it out lmfao

Damn thats just crazy, have you sealed the engine up? I would try that next, and if that fails go buy another powerplant haha

never thought to seal the engine, it was running prior to me taking it apart haha knowing me i probly forgot to put some key part back somewhere i dunno it took me forever to realise my negative and positive on the Easy start were backwards and the engine wouldnt do anything haha

Maybe its just me but that flywheel looks to be turning backwards (clockwise looking from the front) it should be turning counter clockwise looking from the front... If its tuning clockwise the OWB and the ez start wires are backwards.

I turned the owb so that the writing is facing inside and when I had the negative and positive the other way on the ez start the ez start would spin but the flywheel wouldnt

Facing inside what??? The lettering on the bearing has to face the engine backplate. When the bearing is in the ez start unit you should be able to see the lettering before it is installed on the engine.

Lmfao that's the way I had it in before I thought it had to be facing the ez start

does it matter what way the one way bearing goes in if it still turns the wheel? i took it all apart again and when i put it back in i noticed there is words on it, i put them facing out this time....... i have a feeling I'm going to have to turn it around lol

Yea, you want the text facing in, you're going to have to flip it.

Lmfao that's the way I had it in before I thought it had to be facing the ez start

My bad, I thought you were talking about the words facing out, as in away from the engine.

Ya that fly wheel is spinning clockwise

hahaha oy life in nitro world is a pain before u learn ...... well ill turn it around again and see if i get anything from the outcome thanks again yall

just remember that the ez start wires need to be switched on the ez start motor not just the one wat bearing .if you change the bearing and not the wires the motor will still try and spin the wrong way.

alright gunna try this again lol heres goes......
