You need to move the front toe links to the bottom side of the axle carrier steering arms (like you have the rears mounted). Also make sure the front toe links are mounted on the top of the bellcrank drag link. If not, you will get major bump steer and very bad handling.

good thing ya told me that cause i have to take them off anyways to replace the bent one. went and got a new crab body and the front toe link today hopefully i can get it running, before i tried to pull the fuel lines replace the glow plug an drop some fuel in there and see if it tried to start up but i got nothing :( next ???

Are you using the ez start? If so make sure both lights light up when starting it. If the glow plug light isnt on and you have a new plug in it then the wand itself may have a bad ignitor. Make sure the harness is grounded also. Yellow wire needs to be grounded to chassis or engine mount bolt blue wire goes to plug red wire goes to top ez start connector and black wire goes to bottom ez start connector. If the yellow wire isnt grounded the ignitor wont work with wand.

Maybe I can't see it?, but have you pulled the plug and connected the glow wire and pressing the button to see if if the plug glows?

yup all plugs are in the right spot, i pulled the glowplug and put it on my sure glow glow and it heats up an turns red..... I'm still thinking somehow the engine isnt getting any fuel but even at that it should have tried to start when i put a couple drops in the engine underneath the glow plug

btw i bought new linkage for the 2.5 throttle .... mine has a blue bar that the linkage kinda slides into but I'm missing the screw to hold it in would that have anything to do with it or should i just rebuild this carb?

Did you try pouring a tad of fuel into the carb without the filter on it and trying to start it? Try that and see if it fires.

ill take a pic real quick

its not the right screw in there lol i lost the little one so ill have to go buy another one but anyways thats what I'm talking about

well I've got it trying to start now so my guess is ill have to tune it while trying to start it? will the low speed needle possition effect it starting? i was just playing with the hsn

Yes it can effect it. It may be too lean and not letting enough fuel get thru. And that blue thing is your brake linkage. At the bottom of it where it goes down by the brake disk it has a notch in it and a piece sits in that notch and when the brake linkage pulls the rod top of the blue shaft it turns the shaft which pushes the piece at bottom against the brake disk applying the brakes. So that screw has nothing to do with it starting. Only stopping! Lol

lol thats just in it.... i was messing with the hsn on the carb trying to get it to start i put it 4 turns out and the lsn left it at 2 turns out so maybe i have to adjust the lsn?

Try to lean the lsn a bit first. If nothing then try to richen it from the 2 out position about 1 hour at a time. 4 out on hsn should be good for now.

i got it trying to start a lil more but then fuel started spitting out between the cooling head lol some I'm gunna stop until i get that o ring in the mail from ya.

Yeah a missing gasket would explain it! That thing left here on thursday so you should get it maybe today or tomorrow i would think. Then again the postal service has been know to be a bit behind and slow.

Looks good. I painted a couple sets of my wheels black too. I love black wheels! Did some trimming on the revo body today as well. I like it!View attachment 11382

ya I'm a fan of the black wheels... when i boiled um i went to take one off and ripped the rubber, nothing a little super glue can't fix! and just checked the mail and i got it, thanks alot. now its time to try it out !

well with all my efforts i cannot get this thing started :(

May take longer priming. If that tanks leaking it will cause the lines to suck air or just not be getting enough vacuum to get fuel through the lines to carb. Hints the inability to keep a tune with a leak. Make sure your carb seal isnt split or missing all together too. Should be a orange seal around bottom of carb where it fits into block. That will be a problem if its missing or broken too.
