alright got the words on the owb facing the engine, the fly wheel is spinning counter clock wise adjusted both hsn and lsn and I'm still getting no where fast! I just dont get what could be wrong

Damn I was hoping for ppictures of this bitch rippin! If you have funds drop another powerplant in her.

Is fuel getting to the carb? When you cleaned it, did you pull the engine apart (piston out)?

no i left the engine complete except for the back plate that connects to the ez start ya I'm getting fuel to the carb :/ I'm about to just buy a new engine lol but if i were to i might as well sell this tmaxx complete and turn around and use that money with the engine money and buy a new one hahah

I would pull the engine and do a complete tear down on it, that would allow you to check for any internal damage. If it's gtg on the inside, you'll know it's something else. Do you have any friends that may have more experience with tuning?

i dont know a single person other then myself here thats into rc's maybe ill just take it to hobbytown and see what they can do... which will be " hey we got this nice engine over here for 500 bucks that will run great" lmfao

Are you sure your glow plug works, are both lights illuminating on the wand when you hit the button, were did you mount the ground wire it should be on the top of the eng at the bolt that holds it to the mount for a good ground.

go figure there tech guy quit the other day :/

Damn! And let me guess nobody else working at the hs knows anything about the products sold there? Wow

And they wouldnt hire anyone like us because we would be considered "OVER QUALIFIED" for the position.

Hell, most hs will swoop on the chance to skin some money off your knees, even if its penny change worth of work...

lol no luck so far, monday i gotta run to boise there is a tech guy at Hobbytown there, it was funny i walked in the one here and it was all dark and gloomy. one guy was working and he knew nothing about rc's....just trains and hes the one who told me the tech guy quit lol

Well guys thanks for the help but I'm sorry to say....

I GOT THE TMAXX RUNNING!!! lol i remember someone in the other post saying something about sealing the engine, so i found a vid and sealed it and wam ! started right up but died when i hit the brake. and any time I'm not giving it gas it dies :/ or it just takes off from startup at a million miles an hour. so i gotta figure that out, but other then that it runs! thanks for the help yall.

Oh and i think my ezstart motor just fried it stopped working its supper hot and started to smoke lol! at first i though it may be flooded but no its smokeing so I'm thinking shes done, i do have another one but its to long :( might go get a pull start tomorrow

Take a standard size paper clip stick one end in the carb slide and adjust the idle screw with the brakes applied until the slide touches the paper click, it should be about 1 mm open about the thickness of a credit card, next set the low speed screw about flush with its housing, this should get you close so the eng won't take off on you when you start it, adjust from there. And remember NEVER START THE TRUCK WITH THE REMOTE OFF. look up how to tune the eng on this site or YouTube. This is a great chart to follow.
