I found my son's donut machine under a shelf in my room last night and decided to get it working again.
Tire it down mostly. put it back together also mostly lol
No I really did
But as I'm taking off I notice it doesn't wanna
Got serious cogging
I don't remember what exactly happened to the car gonna watch videos after work to find the break
But gears seem fine
Shaft moves as it should
But when I give her gas it just sputters
I'll make a video of it tonight after work
It was a free rc my son did lots of donuts in that's about all I can remember of it.

When I give it throttle it
It hesitates and clicks as it sort of "warms up" then it will take off at high speeds
I lost the 2 bodies for it so meh

I had a solder joint break inside the heatshrink tube. It looked right, plugged in right but cogged like hell till it stopped all together.
I assumed I fried the 2in1 or motor.
I didn't even find the problem until I was replacing them with Jennys parts.
When I yanked on the wires instead of holding the connectors, both connector ends were still attached but the wire was not! 🤣

I had an issue like that, I ended up replacing the esc with a hobbywing BL30
I don't have anything small enough to replace it with on hand
It's not worth putting any money into lol

I think it was laying around, those are $30 even less on Ali. I agree on the not worth the money, nor the time. I remember now, ours took a good slam from a jump and then the cogging began. I tore it down just like you, replaced the diffs with better ones, nothing was broken. The motor worked on another ESC but the esc would not work with any motors I had.
