Yea same with me. Only time I order directly from horizon is when they have a really good deals or sales, or when I need a part and I can only find it on there. Which both of those terms are pretty rare to see so...

Kinda expected this to happen, coming from horizons business practices.

They are likely trying to Drive AE's value down so they can buy them up and ruin the company like they have every other company they snatched up.

AE should have severed ties with HH years ago.
Seems like a smart thing for pretty much everyone to do.
I have seen HH put items 'on sale' that prob aren't selling well. No idea if this is what happened here but I'd agree more with HH attempting to cheapen a company that they don't own so can't destroy entirely. (at least for now)
THIS is why I try to not spend money with companies with policies I don't agree with.
Saving $3 on a part isn't worth closing AE's doors.
I personally think most of HH's lines are junk anyways.

The death of the RC10 will be an RTR version with Spektrum electronics in it!!!

It’s a shame that HH has done this. At first, I was thinking that they’d be shooting themselves in the foot by alienating AE. But HH is so big they probably don’t care about that. Unfortunately.

I went to the HH in Albuquerque a couple weeks ago for the first time, glad I didn't buy anything.

I was thinking about how Associated is branching out into different matkets. They seem to have their sites set on a bunch of HH customers too.

AE could not have survived building only race buggies in the US. I think it was the better move to survive the brand and recover from damages with Team Tiger Balm than to just pull the plug.

Clearly our hobby is changing. It will be interesting to see who thrives and who gets sucked under the waves.

I hope it requires the winners to provide us with better products and not just to cheapen products in order to outsell the competition.

I'm SO tired of 'it doesn't last quite as long but its cheaper!' And companies with planned obsolecence by parts discontinuation...
I don't need ANY more shelf queens and WE don't need ANY more landfill!!!

Sell great kits at fair prices with good parts availability... It doesn't seem hard when I read it.... I MUST be missing something.

I don't regret buying the 6.3,its a nice buggy. But I haven't used it either and fear it fading fast.
It doesn't need to be on my shelf.

I broke the servo in my Gorgon a month or 2 ago and I have struggled with buying a Spektrum plug and play replacement... To the point that replacing all the electronics seems my likely route.
I just don't want to buy any more of their stuff.
I will NEVER support google in this hobby.

That dammed trail jeep and the vegas rc10 both have me drooling and thats the truth.
I don't know that I can spent that kind of money on those rigs when there are Kyosho (RULES!) that I'd rather own right now.
