Anyone else having weird shipping issues through USPS?

I've had 3 packages recently be shipped from Amain Hobbies in California with the destination of Gig Harbor, Washington. All several days late because they are arriving at the Seattle Distribution Center and then being rerouted to freakin Indiana and then back to Washington! What sense does this make 🤣

I think it was like 45 days shipping. Stuck in Indy over a month.

O. M. G. !! Gotta let place of purchase know about it , or it may continue
It was a gift from MrGoodwrench here to a young man I have become pretty good friends with over the last couple months. He lost everything a little over a year ago in an apartment fire, and was really struggling last fall. The guys here put a huge smile on his face for Christmas with a little help, but MrGoodwrench's contribution just showed up at his new place a couple days ago. He came by yesterday and I gave him a LiPo charger for it. He's like a kid in a candy store, all excited for his first real runs tomorrow 😊

In my area, USPS has been the quickest and most reliable. Seems like they are having a hiccup, so Ibwas curious if anyone else was having the same issue. Not in a rush to get my packages. Its just weird when the tracking says "this day", and all of a sudden my package shows up in Indiana.

I usually have very good luck with the USPS. I currently have two parcels in the mail stream, one I sent and one on its way to me, and are both overdue with tracking that says "arriving late."

Wonderful story about the gifts to the fire victim, BTW.

Oh man, when I get a note saying the USPS is gonna deliver? I'm just shaking my head, praying that I actually get it. Even just snail mail. Letters don't get delivered to me. Even bills, etc. That card from my inlaws who are literally 20mi away? Nope. They, the usps, can...uhhh...as the Brits would say....Eff offf. .

The funny thing is they (usps) complain about losing revenue. And to me, it's like, well, if you were actually reliable, maybe more people would use you. Huh. Funny how that works....

Another day gone by and my two parcels are still in limbo. One of them left St. Louis SIX DAYS ago and still shows "In transit to next facility." The other one left Philadelphia two days ago and is also still in transit. I'm in NY and, usually, anything in Philly would be delivered by two days.

Yep. I had a package scheduled for delivery Sunday....got up Saturday and shoveled the driveway about 830am, got an email around 11. Attempt at package delivery 10:45am, driveway or front door was blocked....not true. No package or updates Sunday. Arrived today, still not updated online.

Taylor uses fedx, I’ve had one package delivered a block away , thankfully there’s good people out there still , the lady brought my Taylor 35 engine over to me , I was in shock !!

Those two packages very likely arrived in Indy a few hours after leaving ST Louis, and the trailer they are in was just parked in the lot behind 50 other trailers waiting to be unloaded. The Postmaster needs to be fired.

Both my parcels finally showed up as "out for delivery" and were delivered yesterday. A bit late, but not lost... :)

How long did they sit in Indy?
Neither did... one was last scanned in St. Louis and the other in Philadelphia before they were listed as in transit for a while.

That was definitely a pause in Indy.

Indy has been having constant complaints about that. Tracking saying nothing, or back and forth for days, even showing up here in Terre Haute, then back to Indy. They currently have something really F'd up. Which I am betting is exactly why I got that notification, because my package is heading to Indy right now.

They are probably trying to catch up with everyone else’s orders in your area 😅.

For sure there’s a reason, and undoubtedly a trickle-down effect.. Just bonkers that it’s literally 40 out of 40… They’re definitely batting a thousand. 😂
