Hello all,
I have a T-Maxx from around ‘03 maybe’02 that has a lot of addon’s I’ve done and a Associated MGT 4.6 that was a freebie that came with no transmitter. It’s been probably ten years since I’ve messed with these things or more and I would like to start tinkering with them in my spare time to get them up and running again. Over time and moving states and homes basically I only have the trucks left. No transmitters no batteries or anything. So step one for me would be to get a new transmitter and receivers for the trucks. Since I’ve been out of this for so long I was looking to see what is out there as far as a beginner to mid grade transmitter and receivers that would work with both trucks. The trucks both currently have the old AM 3 channel 27mhz transmitters with crystals. I don’t know much about the 2.4ghz other than it seems you can go farther with them and no need for crystals. Any suggestions on which brand or models would help for a transmitter and two receivers that would work with both trucks. Thank you all for your help!
