Hi I have a zd-mx 07 car
Has not been crashed
I drove it once for about 20 minutes
in mud and sand.

And now she stopped driving
i hear the engine moving
But the car didn't move
What could it be?
And what should I check?

thanks

Hi friends, I have another question about cleaning safety
I drive a lot in mud and sand and off-road
I wanted to ask if it is okay at the end of the trip to clean all the mud with air
and then put the rc in the shower
and wash the whole car with water
?
Also from the inside in all areas rc
I usually throw water on everything, wash it including the parts inside
A thorough wash with water
and then throw it with air
This removes all the mud
And then I use an air diffuser on everything and leave it to dry.
I always put
silicone oil
which is safe for plastic and metal parts without petroleum
on all the parts
But not on the electronics

this is basically what i do yes.
make sure to keep your esc and recievers dry. they do NOT like the water, and use compressed air to keep the screws from rusting
you can waterproof the esc and recievers, but even still i try to avoid soaking mine,

Thanks for the response
Although I saw that ESC wb 6bl 160 is waterproof
So I'm not afraid to wash it in the shower

after washing
I still feel sand and a crackling sensation
from the brakes
may need to use a detergent before washing the car

I'm quite surprised that this happens because I lubricate most of the car with a special silicone spray without mineral oils that works on both plastic and metal
But apparently it doesn't repel the sand enough

Does anyone know a recommended cleaning agent that he uses in his car that removes the sand?

Simple Green, followed by compressed air, disassemble and clean, brushes, etc.

There is petroleum damage in this silicone spray as well
I'm a user so I don't know if it's safe for rc, on the other hand it's written that it can also fit plastic
Can't petroleum distillate cause damage to plastic over time?
Maybe you should apply silicone oil with a brush all over the car instead of a spray?
The question is which silicone oil is recommended to lubricate the plastic bearings and the entire vehicle except electronics
What degree of viscosity?

You can safely spray your car down with silicone. A lot of folks do. WD40 is something I have used as well. I just wipe off any excess afterwards. And take the wheels off first to keep from getting it on the tires.

Petroleum can damage some plastics It will also attract more dust and dirt on your next run.
I use compressed air and a brush to clean my r/c's. The body, tires and wheels can be easily removed for a clean in water and dishsoap if needed.

The problem is that if you wash it with water
need protection after that because it starts to rust
After a few minutes even with drying it
And the silicone spray protects the parts and screws from rust

Maybe using silicone oil is safer?
Because it doesn't contain petroleum distillate, just apply it to the car with a brush
It seems safer
But I'm looking for the right silicone oil if anyone knows
I haven't tried that one in AliExpress
But the price seems tempting to buy.
It is also very difficult to remove stubborn mud from a car without water at all
Maybe there is simplegreen
But unfortunately I don't have the option to get my hands on one right now
