a little advice, please...

Good evening to all-

I have been having a ball with my little micro rtf warbirds, and I wish it would be possible for me to stay content at this level of rc flying, but...
I can already tell I will be interested in trying a more involved system of rc planes.
So, here's where I need advice from you folks. What kind of transmitter and other gear do I need for plug and play rc planes? what brand/models do you recommend?
And please keep in mind that I am NOT a techy sort of person- I like simple things that work- and I don't like a lot of tetchy electronic stuff that requires loving care to work.

That will all depend on what airframe you choose. most are spectrum bind and fly is what its called can be from 4 channel to 12+model you chose should tell you how many channels it requires.
