So after a fair amount of arm twisting and scale shaming...thanks to @Ritz413. I grabbed a 1RC Sprint car. All in for $200. Car, Flysky radio, batteries and charger. The details on it are beautifully done. It's fast and needs a bit of room. Worse part was getting all the plastic film off the body..fair amount of disassembly. Well worth looking into.

I got all the plastic film off the body panels. As mentioned by @Lucifur10 it is a chore,lol.
No wheels over tightened, and not a single screw loose or stripped I can find so far. Really nicely put together car.
Shocks are friction coil overs, but feel like oil with a slower rebound
