Hey guys, well I purchased a traxxas 4-tec 2.5 wich funny to say hasnt arrived yet but, should any day now. As soon as my friend found out, he went and purhcased one too. He got himself a new Savage25 truck. He has only dirt roads where he lives so he got himself an offroad. Now he wants to race me, I told him the 4-Tec is only for onroad action. How would this two RC's compare onroad against each other :ponder2:? I'm a newbie when it comes to RC's so go easy on me?

Ever seen the movie "Monster Man" (great B movie... all about... well, if I tell ya, I'd ruin it for ya)? Basically, The savage might not keep up on pavement. However, if it catches ya, it won't hit and bounce off. It'll go right up and over the car (moving speedbump).

well "Supposably" the 4 tec is suppose to go 60mph out of the box, and the savage is suppose to go 42+mph so onroad, obviously a onraod car is probably gonna take it. Watch out for the 4tech though. They dont handle very well and are kinda heavy. The 4tec was also my 1st nitro rc.
