Okay, so RCNT was awesome (really, thanks!) enough to pick me as a random 25-dollar gift cert winner to A Main Hobbies.

I have a brand new, totally stock AX10 that needs upgrading, of course. My white dots just came in so I'm good on tires. What else should I do right away that is around 25 bones? I know I will eventually get the aluminum arms and all that, but I have not priced them as of yet.

Ideas, boys! :D

Give me the $25 and I'll make you 4 straight or bent delrin lowers with 4mm hardware ;)

Or...Aluminum C's, knuckles and lock outs are all things you will need pretty soon, prolly can get C's or knukcles or lock outs for around $25 shipped....

I'm really liking the looks and utility of the bent arms. Saves a LOT of space under the vehicle that would otherwise drag on stuff. Do you really make 'em custom that would fit the Axial?

Yes. Bents are helpful in alot of situation, but straight help alot too actually, either way, delrin is the best material for sliding across the rocks.

I was joking about the $25 though. If you are ever interested in delrin lowers just pm me and we'll talk that way.

Best set up that I found for a shafty is straight links up front and bent in the rear. Your also going to want to clock your rear axle up a bit too, it helps keep the drive line out of the way, leave the front axle pretty much flat or kinda following the straight front links up toward the tranny.

haha cool! those vanquish high steers relocate the arms up further, out of the way? similar thing on some of the jeeps i run with. :) very effective upgrade.

Yeah and the BTA steering set up gives you a 4 link for the front and moves the steering linkage out of the way behind the axle so it does not hit on the rocks and also give you a place the mount a small lipo battery on the front axle.:D
