Thought we'd change things up a bit from the normal giveaway threads and have some fun. This might even turn into an annual event should we have enough interest.

The 2024 RC Themed Pumpkin Carving Contest!

ONE BEST CARVED AND ONE RANDOM WINNER!
So even if your carving skills are not the best, you can still win!

Contest Rules

1. Carving must be yours.

2. Carving must be newly carved (this year) and be RC themed.

3. You must post a photo of your pumpkin carving in this thread and it must include something with your RCTalk username and date written on it.

4. You may only enter ONE pumpkin (if you enter more then 1, only the first one added to the thread will be considered).

THE PRIZES

Best Carved will win a $175 gift card.

A Random Winner will win a $75 gift card.

Prizes and Contest Details

Entries accepted through October 31st 12:30PM EST.

We'll have two prizes up for grabs! Everyone who participates in the contest will be entered into a random draw to win one prize. The Grand Prize will go to the best carved "RC-themed" pumpkin! Our staff will select a limited number of finalist carvings for you to vote on in an official voting poll, which will be activated after the entry deadline. Remember, you don't need to carve the top pumpkin to snag a prize—just join in the fun!

Like Michaels has life sized foam pumpkins that are carvable.

Ok I can get down with that.

If you were going to try to do some photoshop work or something, then I was going to have to stick with no. But I'm curious how others will vote for fake ones vs the real deal.

Fake pumpkins come in different sizes and shapes but tend to be average pumpkin size. 13" or so, and don't rot. They can be displayed for as long as you want. I've had some for 15 to 20 years now.

Fake pumpkin.

Did someone get hungry?
This is the first time they've ever attacked the pumpkins at the front entryway. Usually, they wait until I throw the pumpkins into the back woods on my property.
They must like the pumpkin seeds better, because there is a poop load of acorns around my property. One oak tree is only about 20ft away, from that pumpkin, and dropping acorns like crazy.

I haven't had a chance to pick up a pumpkin yet, need to get a move on, running out of time. Anyone else gonna enter, looks like we could use a few more entries ya bunch of slackers!

I probably will, but have too many house projects right now (about to go paint kid's bathroom) to get ready for our big family party we are throwing next weekend. I'll probably have mine submitted a few days before Halloween. 🤷‍♂️
