No, The HPI NMT Racer does not come with a two speed. I owned one at one time :D Tons of fun. The new MT2 is out anyways :D

savage squirrel i put a 2.5 traxxas motor with tmax clutch easy start and everything in my losi xxxnt the sirio .18 is a direct replace for the 2.5 it should work i had to make my own motor mounts wich offset the motor a little but it will fit iam looking for some info on putting a 2 speed in a losi if you know any thing with the traxxas motor in it it pulls wheelies from a dead stop

i know but i want more than just a single speed that pulls wheelies i want it to bo faster than my tc

they dont make a 2-speed and wont for the gt

I bought the e-book for the gt off the associated site and it say that the chassie doesn't have theroom for a two speed. Beside if you wont speed get a touring car the .15 that comes in the gt is faster then most and its pretty hard to put all that power to use.

you can't fit a two speed trans in a RC 10 GT then explain this picture.

I didnt say someone with nothing better to do couldnt cut the chassie, put different arms on, put small spur gears on and for what to go fast down the straight this isnt very practical even by the picture there isn't enough room to real work with different gears. Why dont you look at the picture and explain to me gear ratio and what you really accomplish

why?

cutting the chassis? no
different A-arms? no
smaller spur gear? yes
not enough room for differing gears? no i can change gears easily.
for what to go in a straight line? yes

the engine i am currently using is a OS 21 RG so far this summer
i have gone through almost two gallons of fuel with this so clamed unreliable addition, with no problems.
i race this RC 10 GT on and off road. sometimes in straight lines and sometimes not. come on most of you should know that the RC 10 handles quite well on dirt tracks already. the addition of a two speed Trans just helps in the straightaways "most of the time it stays in first any ways ".
off road this car compeats with the offna 9.5 buggy
with a change of tires on road this car competes with the Serpent and the sonic GT, TC3, HPI"s.
this kit Two speed kit is avalible at www.rc.hobbyshop.org

YEAH LMAO I'd like to see your GT compete on the same level as a Serpent. Maybe in mud, but not on any road course.

two speed

there is no dout that a serpent or any other all wheel drive rc car such as a tc3 will spank the RC 10 on true on road track with people who know how to drive. but, none of the people that i race with are professional racers, nore are we racing on a actual track. we play around in larg parking lots at night and we set up large oval and tracks and race for abuck a lap. it was only after my on road car died that i brought out my RC 10 to play. originaly the plan was to race in a strate line "drag" and yes every one there thought it was kind of funny. we lined them all up one serpent, two sonic gt's, one TC3, one fusion, and one T-maxx. to my surprise the RC 10 actualy pulled away right from the start and beat them all. After some time drag racing the guys with the on road cars chalenged me to race it on the oval track we had marked out. I did and too my suprise it did compete and did win. yes, it is true that the RC 10 does not take corners as well as the road cars but its only two corners, the RC 10 can make up for the slower cornering speed in the stragtht aways. "i do not have any clue how fast the RC 10 goes on the top side but it does move along all right and holds its own."
