Hi ! I'm converting my slash into a monster wide slash. I felft in love with the beadlock system.

One of the customer at my hobbyshop (he passed a way) machined himself some rims and her wife gave it to the owners. The quality is well beyond what you can find elslewhere and its low price. Proline discountinued all theyre 2.8 tires and I'm sad. I dont really have hope but do you know some good tires i can get in 2.8 ?

My truck would be so unique with those beadslock. And its more realistic too.

This is my last chance lol

Traxxas has 2.8. I think duratrax makes 2.8 also. Got pics of the wheels?

Nah i dont but it should fit proline 2.8 but they only makes tires with the wheel now. I dont really want traxxas. I only want the tires and dont find anything really :/ short course yes but not monster.

That's what happens when you sell your company to Horizon Hobby. They destroy it.

I noticed. They changed soo much since being bought. I used tobrant and rave on thier bodies for years. Now they are paper thin like everyone else's. If I was a bit smarter I'd start making them.

Guess I won't be buying 2.8 tires to stretch on 3.8 rims for my stampede. 🫤

I have sent numerous emails to Horizon about stupid crap like this. If enough people did that, they'd probably stop destroying this hobby.

With everyone doing this across the board I sometimes think they were told to drive us that way.

Buy the glued ones and un-glue them. This is the choices we have. You just can’t get 2.8 tires by themselves.
Personally I have had great luck with the duratrax and the OG badlands on the raid wheels. The original badlands are definitely my favorite tire for dirt.

I wouldn’t go for the badlands just cuz I say I like em, it depends on what turf your running on. You should look on eBay, maybe you can find something that isn’t glued

Thats the wheels i wanted anyway. I'm just sad that they dont sell tires anymore... I really liked the fact that my lhs sells rims made by a customer. Maybe ill try other tires in the future to compare but the badland seems like the best tires i can get.
