I cannot get behind AE's use of white plastic. BUT...a 1:10 MT kit, this day and age!? That is freakin cool! I would love to manufacturers head back down THIS path.

There are two versions. The Factory Team Kit in normal black plastic and the Classic Kit in white. Both priced at $360.

After the rc10 1/12 pickup truck kit, I am absolutely burned on Associated's "dyeable" white plastic. I'll never fall for that gimmick again. I really like the looks ofnthe factory team version though.

the thought just occurred to me. how come they can sell a big ass 1/10 4x4 monster truck for $360. but a 1/10 2wd buggy that's half the size/weight, doesn't come with wheels/tires and probably has half the components is $400?

Hmm. Might just pull trigger on the white plastic. Shelf queen. Like the gold accents. Good combo. AE website description makes no mention of included stg servo, esc or motor. Roller? Better yet.

Clear body. Probably leave it that way. Maybe sticker it up. Depends. I'm a chassis guy, so clear body would set it off on the shelf. Gotta think about this some more.

Interesting release anyway. Already have two MT10s. One stock; one mod. Consider it an excellent RC. Just haven't yet considered it classic. Might just be. -AC

I don't mean to shoot myself in the foot, as I HATE the white plastic BS, but I kind of dig the MT10 in white.

i think id like the white more if the gold was blue. all the 90's factory team kits had blue anodizing. blue screws, blue turnbuckles, blue front axels, blue motor mounts, B3/T3 had blue chassis plate and kick up. shocks bodies, can't remember, the front hinge pin brace maybe (?).

Whenever the words "race kit" are printed on a box, there's a premium for that. Not brand specific. 🤣
