I live 20 minutes from that track. I use to work the races for about 5 years prior to nascar purchasing the track and changing everything. You used to volunteer for 2 4 hour shifts and in return you would get the 4 day super ticket plus special parking just outside the hairpin. When I wasn't working I was taking pics. I took my boys every year. It's awesome to see them in person, tv doesn't do it justice. On Fridays they had autograph sessions where all the drivers would be at their haulers signing autographs. I have event posters from each of the years I went signed by a lot of the drivers. Even got a pic of my son with Richard Rawlings one year when he was at the track for the gas monkey team. Then the grid walk prior to the start of the race was really cool too. I haven't been in a few years but I've been itching to go back again. GTLM was my favorite division, I always liked the Corvette team.
