Any ideas on a controller to run my Savage race truck , Savage basher and RC10GT race car with just one controller. Dont know for sure if it is even possible

The Spektrum DX3.0 can handle 4 separate cars. It will also remember the individual setups for each. You will obviously need for receivers, 1 for each car. I have 2 cars running off mine at the moment.

Most newer aftermarket and some RTR radios will handle multiple cars. They are stored as different profiles to save servo settings. What is your budget? you can get a nice FM radio and recievers for pretty cheap, like a JR XR3i or Air. MX-3. The spread spectrum systems are very nice, no crystals needed, but the RX's will cost a bit more.

I think the Airtronics MX-3 can do it. You can also use radios that use crystals, but those are kinda cheap.

The MX-3as you typed it is a crsytal based transmitter. The MX-3S is the synthisised and the MX-3FHSS is the Frequency hopping spread spectrum.

all nice but your budget will determine which you can get.

Keep in mind that receivers are pricey as well. You can get a MX3 for $110 with receiver, but the receiver alone is $80 (which I can't find on tower anymore...) or you can go with the Novak XXTra synth receiver that doesn't require crystals and you can use the one crystal the remote comes with, then tune the synth receivers to match it.

I use one of the novaks and 2 of the airtronics ones all with my one transmitter.

Just make sure you get the Novak XXL for "sanwa".It is made to work for Sanwa/airtronics systems.

I had the XXTRA but not when I had the M8 I used it with my old JR XS3.

I bought my XXL's for about 20-30 back then. Some were used but all worked great. Some of The XXL's did not work with an MX-3 I had due to it not being 'sanwa' stamped.

I have 2 MX-3S Radios, one i 27mhz and the other is 75mhz. The XXTRA will work I guess with the 75mhz radio? And what receiver can I buy for my 27mhz one?

i had an mx-3 running 2 different rigs, for the price it is a nice radio. and if your serious about this hobby a good radio is a good investment since you can transfer it to the next rig you buy and keep using it. the only reason i sold the mx-3 is becaue i got a nomadio for a heck of a deal and its far superior to the mx-3 and most any radio on the market right now.

I got the MX-3 Synthesized on a trip to HK for 100 set include receivers and no servos thats why I picked it up, I think the MX-3S is a little better than the MX-3, but of course no comparison to the nomadio
