We did 1/10 Buggy and Mini B racing here this Saturday at RCUA. Racing Started at 2:30. We got done around 6.

We did 2 rounds of each class and a couple mains.

B74:

Still running like half carpet and half clay setup. Its all over the place lol. But it did alright. Cody that runs the off road track is helping me out by getting me setup with diff and shock oils to get my car setup and dialed. He is also going to resolder the battery bullets for me too.

Heat 1 Round 1: I started in 1st and finished in 3rd out of 4 drivers. Fast lap at a 12.4 and a average of a 19.3. My Consistency was poor at 42% but still made it through the race. Scoring: https://rcundergroundarena.liverc.com/results/?p=view_race_result&id=4419490

Heat 2 Round 2: I started in 3rd and finished in 3rd out of 5 drivers. Fast lap of a 15 and a average of 17.3. My Consistency went up to a 88%. Scoring: https://rcundergroundarena.liverc.com/results/?p=view_race_result&id=4420444

B Main: I started 2nd and finished 2nd out of 4 drivers. Fast lap of a 15.3. An average lap of 17.3, Consistency still the same at 88%. Scoring: https://rcundergroundarena.liverc.com/results/?p=view_race_result&id=4421195

Mini B:

This is the first/second test with new aluminum and carbon upgrades. Also with the new BL system. Which is a King Val amazon 35A esc with 2435 6100kv motor. The esc gets very very hot after about 7 minutes on the track. Maybe because of the very high kv? I read the manual that comes with it. For offroad for 2s, they recommend anything lower than 4800. Cody (race director / leader) has soldered back up my Dynamite 2 in 1 motor. I haven't tested it out yet. Hopefully it boots up fine and it is out of protection mode. If it is, I will save it as a backup motor/esc. With more weight on the car, it still does wheelies and standing backflips. I had set up my throttle expo through my radio, which helped with throttle delay. When I pull full trigger, it will ramp up the throttle instead of actually going full throttle and doing a standing backflip.

Heat 1 Round 1: I started in 2nd, and finished 4th out of 6 drivers. This, on the last 2-4 laps, I had the ball cup pop off and my driveshaft was on the track. Good thing I saw it with the orange spray paint. My fast was a 18.4 with a average of 21.4. My Consistency was 89% which was really good. Scoring: https://rcundergroundarena.liverc.com/results/?p=view_race_result&id=4419491

Heat 2 Round 2: I had started in 4th, and finished in 2nd out of 6 drivers. Fast of a 17.3 and a average of 21.1. Consistency at 81%. Scoring: https://rcundergroundarena.liverc.com/results/?p=view_race_result&id=4420445

A Main: Started in 3rd, ended up in 2nd out of 6 drivers. Fast of a 16.6 and a average of 19.2. Consistency at 90%.

Didn't take any videos today. But I do got some pics. Which we all like some pics.

Was pitting with the locals this time. Get out of my comfort zone. Talk to people about the cars. Have fun.

I haven't tried indoor carpet yet, looks like a good time. I was at The Track in Gaithersburg yesterday.
