Very true. When I worked in the racing industry we had a Nascar party at the shop every year during the Brickyard. Only Nascar teams and their friends could come. We had Jack Daniels there with a huge semi that transformed into an outdoor bar. Live bands, killer food, drunk Nascar drivers, etc. Man it was a blast! I also met Lyn St. James. First woman to win the Indy 500. She sat and drank with us and it was really fun talking to her. Jesse James Dupree from Jackyl also frequented our shop. I really miss being around that stuff.

Yeah, we got to go to one of two suites at the Indy track during qualifications too. One right over pit row, and the other on the top level on turn two. The Indianapolis Colts were to our left, Tony Stewart below us, and another race team to our right. The outdoor seating was right over the track. It was so cool. Full access pit passes. I walked down pit row where all the pit boxes were and got to mingle with all the drivers passing by on their way to the pits. I nearly bumped into Danica Patrick walking through there.

Looked like not a huge venue. The best way to see a band is in small places. Once in a lifetime opportunity to watch shows like that!

Louisville KY.
