I'm just in the process of creating a flywheel for my 12 year old Team Associated RC300 car :) Lets see how much it costs to fabricate.

Lessen is right that is Hella Sweet! Think of all the possibilitys.

I took a CAD class in High School not only was it pretty easy but Fun.

I downloaded the cad program.IT aint that hard i downloaded it for designs i need to make for me not for him to build,it aint that hard.He also does Lexan suction molding(how the make r/c bodies).

Lessen i dont have any CAD experience and i started maessing around after my third try of designing a go kart rol cage i got it done..it just wont l;et you see 3D if lines intersect,or if they arent closed

dude, that's totally awesome... I could design a good roll cage for my twin engine Maxx!!! oh man... and the wheels start turning... :)

Anyone tried to make a chassis??? I want to see how much it would cost to make one out of titanium grade 5 for my rc10gt.

dang.. for 1 flywheel its 107$ to make. For 10 flywheels its 170$, making it 17$/piece.

Anyone needs a flywheel for an AE RC300 ? :D

*whistle* dang... that's steep. I'll go buy a MIG welder and make my own rollcage. At least I know where to get some argon....

That's cool, but I'm stil having trouble getting the 3D right, any suggestions?
