Whilst surfing around the forum I came across the thread "My homemade micro jump". People started talking about the Losi Xcelorin 8750KV motor and it got me thinking - could I put this kit (http://www.losi.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSB9594) into my Rage. However, there isn't much room in the Rage (see pics) and would I overload what was originally a 1/36 motor.

If I can't do this and get a decent performance increase, is there any other motor/kit I can put into it?

The motor/esc combo wouldn't be sufficient for the Rage. They do make one for the 1/18th Mini-T that would work. Another that is widely used in the 1/18th scalwe is the Mamba series of ESC/motors.

Thanks for the pointer Hamz.:)

Have been looking around most of today (summer holidays - yay!:D) and found a Castle Creations Sidewinder Micro Brushless Combo (here).

Good price $101 (£62 in my money).

Is said to give 27 mph in a standard Mini-T. Does anyone know what gearing ratio a standard Mini-T has?

EDIT

Does anyone know if all motors have a uniform size and mounting system?

2nd EDIT

Also, what is the standard top speed for a Mini-T?
