X-MAXX as Mobile Video Platform

I have shared some PIX of my X-MAXX with an itty bitty ESTES ASTROCAM designed for model rockets. Am 90% done with a platform mounted on my X-MAXX that will record with my three-chip PRO video platform; see PIX. More on thus after I finish adding mud flaps and protecting wheel wells.. Anyone else doing this kind of stuff, Ivwill be needing input on vehicle suspension because that big camera is no light-weight ! More soon. Would like to know what people think of this rig. Oh, for what it is worth, the rig will be used to help a local pro vifiographer record some chase scenes for a sci-fi movie we will be shooting soon.

Anyway, you'd be better off with a GoPro mounted up there unless you're going for a crappy SD retro look on purpose...

Thanks for your thoughts. GoPro is a great cam; and you are right about my SONY outliving cockroaches. But, this is only an interim while I develop my cine skills. I'd like to replace it with maybe a CANON XF605 UHD 4K https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/searchresults?query=Xf 605&searchTab=products and a gimbal. Post-production is also a possibility; again glad you mentioned it. Not that I play. But if I eon some lottery money a RED might be nice to have. Farting Penguin again. Question about suspension. I want a bit more travel on my mobile platform. Until I can afford an XF-605, can I go with the stiffest shock springs from TRAXXAS and use G-MADE shock oil rated at maybe 450 ? Any recommendations for heavy lift shocks from other manufactures ? How difficult would it be to mod all X-MAXX shock set-ups so I could run TWO shocks on each wheel ? Thank you
