Inside said care package. One O.S. Max .12 TV, one castle sidewinder 4600kv combo, one mini servo, and two standard servos and one servo horn.

The motor esc combo will go in my Bandit build until I find a motor mount to convert one of my nitro rs4 into electric.

The mini servo is going into my scx10.ii for the 2wd to 4wd duties. The servo horn is going on the steering as I forgot to order one.

Looking at exhaust options for the o.s. and starter box options. If it won't fit the nitro rs4 3, the Kyosho fw06 has more room. And I plan on one of those with the electric fazer anyways.

Air filter wise i may go motor saver if they are still around.

The 3.3 is moral support to the tipsy max .12

@Littlemotor this link below, this starter box it it a left and right horizontal and a vertical start options? Like one can buy this and move parts to start 3 style cars?

Glsd you like it bro! That OS looks bad to the bone. Littlemotor said that is like the OG badboy for the RS4's, so it should drop right in there.
 
That's what I found. Truly amazed. Speaking of amazed, this thing is light. And the feeling of the block is like no other. Found a pipe and header on ebay. It's the correct side this time. 🤣

I just gotta source some stilts. More than likely the hsp clone. Or I may check the pile of aluminum and make something happen.

Now I need paint to do up one of the rally bodies I have stored.
 
So I got stuff i forgot. Pulled out the nitro rs4 drift I bought, and it had motor mounts. Nit to debate if I want it in the drift car or the touring car.

The motor clears so I don't have to put a hole in the orange paint. 🫠🙃

Sorry to put your company name out there for Uncle Sam, but I wanted to be sure the mailman knew he was at the right “brick & mortar”.. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣

That OS .12 TZ was hands down, one of the most sought after .12 engines available when they were on the shelves. That particular mill had about the easiest life that one could’ve had. Not a single DROP of fuel through it, and just sat for the duration full of after run oil until I got my mits on it. I blew the dust off, tore it open, cleaned, and thoroughly inspected it, and was absolutely ASTONISHED.. I liberally applied Bones Motorsports ARO, reassembled, and sent it to your-AHEM; “Toy Store”…🤣 Absolutely do NOT run that plug. Pick up a new OS unit for it, but leave that one in there solely for protection from any debris/dust/dirt, etc. until you break it in. And definitely use a heat gun to bring it up to 220deg before even THINKING about turning it over. I’m sure you know all this-I just have to say it. 😘😂

That Castle combo is literally brand new with not even a full pack run through it. Same for the Hitec, as well as the Digital Hexfly, and horn.

From what I’ve gathered-you’ve ALWAYS put others before yourSELF around here, and just are an all around good dude. Hasn’t gone unnoticed (though I know that doesn’t matter to you, which speaks volume of your character [as it’s the very definition of the word], and generosity), so I know all of this has gone to the right Wookie, and will have a great new home.. I was only a small part of this-and seriously wanna thank each, and every other forum member that came together to make this happen. Seriously could not ask for a better group of solid brothers to cyber-kick it with. Bigfax. As @Warby would say-absolute LEGENDS. Also huge credit goes out to @WickedFog ‘s psycho asss-that dude is absolutely TREMENDOUS at setting these things in motion from the get go.

As for the box-yessir; it would appear so. That tiny wheel will definitely help with a smaller flywheel as well.

Alright, alright-enough gushing… You may continue with the veritable plethora, and copious amounts of absolutely disgusting dad jokes my good man. Enjoy brother-you totally deserve it, my friend. 🤘🍻🥦

Glad to be a part of putting a smile on your fuzzy wuzzy face. We need to keep our favorite Wookie happy, it would be hard to RC, if were were all missing limbs.

To be completely honest Chewy, I haven't seen you RCing in a bit. At least not anything you were sharing much about. And I have seen every bit of your media gallery a few times over, and was hoping this little care package would get ya dragging some of your builds back out and get you inspired. You and I are a lot alike, with the project stash. And I saw a small way to send a little motivation your way, but needed the help of this wonderful group of misfits. And believe me, they did not hesitate. It took literally a few minutes to put this together 😉

Mich appreciated homie. I saw the plug was old and already started to look at them figuring it was to seal it up. And the heat i figured as well it being an O.S. mill.

The heat? Gonna depend on what fuel you run in it. With the below fuels, I’d say an OS hot, or ultra hot. I’d likely just stick with a quality fuel you can have delivered at any time with no bs. VP 25% would be ideal, as they have the right oil package for an OS Race engine. Definitely stay away from the uber high oil content RTR fuels. If you wanted to run 30%, I’d use the Ty Tessman blend, also from VP (by way of Bones Motorsports) or JTP from Drew @ NitroPro, but for either of these-you’ll want to mic your shim stack, and likely add a .15mm to what’s in there.
