The 3s Arrma line is good for on road. My Senton has always been problematic but my 3s Infraction has been an absolute blast & never gave trouble. It's my oldest Arrma & I've beat that RC up pretty well. It just goes. Senton.... 5 packs....broke.

Oh, I just watched a really interesting documentary. Let's just say it did not cast Amazon in a very good light. It's called "Buy Now! The Shopping Conspiracy". It's pretty enlightening.
I would say ebay but they had a nasty claim too. I'll look it up and pm you at work when I find it. I've come to the conclusion the larger you are or more money and power you have the more corrupt you are.

To each their own. Although, I can't quite come to an agreement on the product I have being plastic safe, but I am not saying it isn't. I have always assumed there is a specific product used on plastic as a thread lock.

Late to the thread, and I've not seen this mentioned yet (haven't read the whole thread yet...)
I've been using this for awhile now. I like it for screws in plastic. You've got to give it time to cure before fastening though.

What’s the highest “S” you can get for a LiPo battery? I saw a vid on YT where the guy has a 12S LiPo on his 1/5 scale buggy and the thing blew his tire right off the wheel. Can you buy 12S or was it more likely homemade?

must have been Kevin Talbot

Also , any recommendations for 4S LiPo’s for Traxxas vehicles that come with Traxxas connectors? I just don’t want Traxxas brand batteries. It’s ridiculous how overpriced they are.

I have some CNHL for my MT10 and I got a pair for a great price. With nice long run times. I guess I could just get an adapter for the Traxxas trucks too.

How are you with a soldering iron?
Lop that Traxxas connector off your esc and put on the ec5 or xt90 connectors like the rest of the planet uses.
Prob the smartest, easiest long term solution.

Or cut the connector off and solder on the right connector. Like an XT or EC style. You're just getting started in RC. If you get deep into this hobby with various style connectors, you're always going to be chasing your tail. Best to get yourself setup now with the same connectors throughout.

I agree with what @WickedFog says and what @CertifiedMike stated as well. Decide right now what connector you will marry into and start getting batteries with that connector and solder that connector to the esc. The easiest option for you right now is purchasing an adapter like @9x19 says. Start doing your research for a good iron, you will want one very soon.
My personal choice is the xt90, but I like the idea of the qs8 or whatever its called. That one looks healthy. I always go with the biggest connector I can get for the easiest path for those little electrons to flow freely.
