Why is Traxxas so tight against coupons??????

They are all the same chassis with different bodies... so same prices.

It's called MAP pricing...worth a google.

Horizon with its plethora of brands does the same thing.

I am not up to date on current Traxxas company policy but they seem to be a very 'stick to the rules' sort of company.
They certainly used to be that way.
You might need to reach out to a dealer directly or even visit an actual store in order to use a coupon.
The MAP is likely exactly what you're running into. Not just Traxxas but lots of companies will pull dealer's license if they advertise under MAP.
When places say 'price too low to advertise' the MAP is what they mean. (can be scammy click-bait too)

To be fair, isn't just Traxxas... other brands like Associated and Losi don't usually allow 3rd party coupons either (AMain, Tower, etc.)

Tekno and Kyosho are two brands that have allowed for 3rd party coupons.
