Why have more than one of any truck??

I've noticed after lurking around that a lot of you have more than one of the same vehicle. Can someone tell me why?? Just curious. Like I see someone has 3 Savages, why?? :shrug:

Sometimes people will have one for racing, and one for playing.

Makes sense to me. One for playing and one for racing. Food for thought. Hmmm....maybe since I have a Tmaxx, I should consider another monster truck for racing??? Never thought about that...by the way, Plaidfish, why not. If you can get them for nothing, more power to you.

Spare parts...Lots of them!
You can also pick them up cheap like PF, Fix them up and re-sell to another newbie. Take the cash you just made and buy more hop-up parts for your favorite nitro!

Cool. Maybe I should get rid of the Tmaxx and get something else. I could use the cash for another RC.

I didn't know that HS's sell used RC?? I better check into that. That might be a good way to start if there's something decent to buy.

well outside of my initial investment I made for a HUGE box of T-maxx stuff, I haven't really "made" any money on them...I'd say I break even mostly.....If I loose a little cash on one I just chalk it up to having rented it while I got to test it for a while......that makes me feel better and I'm able to sleep at night when I think like that....

I have 3 trucks... but they are all different makes, models, sizes.

I had 2 t-maxx's once... that was just twice the headache. I replaced 2 maxx's with a single savage. No more headaches.... well, at least not as many or as often!

I have 2 MGTs. The first time I had 2, I bought the second one for the upgrades on it. I stripped it.. made it rtr... kept the 2 extra sets of tires and sold it for a little less than I paid. The guy that bought the rtr (a friend) is going to buy one of those sets of tires.. so I end up getting all my money back and he gets a kick butt truck for peanuts.

I have 2 again, and the original is getting the knife. That is.. I am going to dremel some weight off of it and race my friends with it. Make it a low slung huge 4wd stadium truck. The other one (new 4.60 version.. I traded for it.. only 3 tanks) is going to be a basher/jumper. I have a savage for that already.. but the mgt is so much better. :^)

I had 2 Rc10gt's at once a while back but was simply because I traded for two of them. But I would like to have 2 savages though. For if one happens to break something, or just to have another one so when company comes over they could use it (Since there to damn cheap to buy there own) and bash.
