I love roller coasters. Been to Hershey park once, Disney world once, and Busch Gardens (Virginia) multiple times.

Going to Dollywood (Pigeon Forge TN) later this month.

My favorite coaster currently is Pantheon at BGW. But I like all of the coasters there at BGW:
- Pantheon
- Loch Ness monster
- Tempesto
- Apollo's chariet
- Griffon
- InvadR
- Verbolten
- Grovers Express (Dads favorite lol)
- Escape from Pompeii

- Alpenghiset, I don't like a whole lot. Too harsh of the corkscrews.

Watching Dollywood videos, lightning rod looks pretty fast and insane. And its a wood coaster too.

@BreydonsRc just rode his first one the other day. I loved them when I was a bit younger. The last time I rode one the G forces were a lot more noticeable. Enjoy your youth kiddo!

I am from the North East US - Connecticut and New York. I have 2 favorite Roller Coasters.
#1 - Boulder Dash Mountain Coaster at Lake Compounce Park, CT.

The World's Fastest Mountain Coaster. The 60 MPH ride is on the side of a "mountain". They didn't cut down any trees or move any rocks to build the coaster. It seems like the ride is going to smash into the rocks and trees. When I took my 8 y/o niece on Boulder Dash she was PTSD terrified. I felt bad.

#2 - is The Dragon Coaster at Rye Playland New York.
This roller coaster in the Mariah Carey video "Fantasy"

It's not the wildest roller coaster in the World, but it is one of the oldest. Rye Playland was built in the 1920's and is on the National Register of historic places. It's lot's of fun and the ride lasts a long time. I love the part when the coaster gets 'eaten' by the dragon. There is a dark tunnel on the ride that is entered thru the dragons mouth, complete with red glowing eyes and snorting steam out of his nostrils.

My favorite Dragon Coaster story was right around closing time. There was nobody waiting in line to go on the ride. The people in the front of the ride were begging the ride operator "Let Us Go Again! Let Us Go Again!" I was sitting in the back. When we pulled into the station I said in my best Smooth Barry White voice . . .
'Let it roll Baby...Let it Roll'
He let us go a second time! Everybody was psyched when we went twice. Then the operator didn't even slow us down. He sent us around 3 times!
A few riders were ready to barf.
LOL

The last one I rode was Kings Dominion in Virginia and then Colossus at Lagoon in Utah.
We went to Silverwood in North Idaho about 8 years ago but that's when I was borderline dead and way over weight.
They wouldn't let me ride so I haven't been back. Too old for that crap now.

I'll add, living down here in the south, I'm not far from Pigeon Forge. I've been several times, been a few years, cool town. Really beautiful during Christmas, they completely decorate everything with lighting & trees & have a huge Christmas parade.
Gatlinburg TN is not far. Use to go to the Rod Runs. Many people I know have been to Dolly Wood. They all say it's great.

There is a pretty cool bird zoo in Gatlinburg that has a lot of exotic birds too. Well, it was cool for us because we were raising exotic birds at the time. The kids loved it. They had some bird species there that I had never seen before.

We stayed at a really nice cabin in Gatlinburg once. Went to the comedy barn and that was a hoot. Been to Chatanooga at least 6 times. Love it down there.

Memphis on the other hand, in the summer - you can keep that chit!

And Nashville is cool. Well, the historic parts & stuff. Stay away from the party district. There is a scale Parthenon in Nashville I really enjoyed. Has a huge Athena statue in it. And there is an old train station in downtown we walked through. It's been converted to a hotel. All the original wood works are still there inside as it was as a train station. Looking out the back is the original train turnstile & maintenance yard. Epic. Grand Ole Opry? Forget it. Couldn't get near the place for the traffic. Not even really in Nashville.

Before I got old I enjoyed them, I think the feeling is as close as I will ever get to flying a fighter jet.
And just to prove I'm old, now this song is stuck in my head.

around 4 years ago I had this friend and we both loved rollercoasters, very sure we tried every single one atleast a couple times in the Netherlands🤣 outside of that, I once went to Energylandia in Poland and actually want to return there once again.

I’m probably tall enough, just too light to stay on the ride! 😅
